Chapel in the vineyards

This chapel is nestled in the vineyards on the slope of Selzer Berg in the direction of Zornheim. The Wiesbaden architects KISSLER EFFGEN + Partner designed the building plan. In collaboration with six craftsmen, the chapel was realized as a wood and glass construction in an eight-month construction period. In keeping with the natural materials used, the roof of the chapel is clad in RHEINZINK standing seam panels in prePATINA ECO ZINC blue-grey. Especially in winter, when the vineyards and the surrounding villages are covered in snow, the view is magnificent and contemplative.
